Business Cards

Image
This project took me about an hour to make and it was fairly easy to use InDesign. I wanted to keep a sleek minimalistic look for my business cards because it is professional and doesn't distract from the important information on the cards. I wanted to make it easy to find the information especially if it is looked at quick. I didn't mind making this project because it is a good skill to learn especially for the future when I will need my own business cards or if I need to help someone else design theirs.

BW to Color

Image
This project took me about 5 hours to complete because I was having difficulty placing the different colors on the image. The image itself at some point changed size and is very detailed with the car so it was impossible to use the same image for different color themes. I also could not take the color away from the image and then add color back so I had to edit the image and put a black and white filter over it and save it that way. I would have enjoyed this project if I did not run into such difficulty with all six images.

Barbie Doll

Image
For my toy project, I turned myself into the Millennium Barbie Doll, which came out in 1999, the year I was born. A large majority of friends and family call me Barbie, short for Barbara, so I saw it fit to turn myself into a Barbie. I placed myself in New York City in the winter time because I am from New York and the city in the winter time is beautiful. I was also born in the winter so it ties in with the meaning of the photoshop. I made my outfit blue because the Barbie Doll I used for inspiration wears a dark blue, which is eye-catching in the white snow. My logo is hidden in the tracks on the road and this project took me about 2 hours to complete because of the detail removing the doll from the box and then editing the Barbie logo back on the box.
