Gradient Mesh

This took me about an hour to complete. I struggled getting the reflection to look smooth and in the right spots but I think after playing around with it I was able to get it to work well and look realistic. The reflection was also a hard aspect of this project, however, I believe I was able to give the perception of it being a reflection with the gradients and the colors I used.

This logo didn't take me long to make because I wanted to keep it simple and true to me. The logo I made was inspired by the tail of a thresher shark because I love the ocean and always have since I was younger. Thresher sharks are known in the shark finning industry for being invaluable when it comes to their meat so they are often caught and used as bait to catch other sharks that have valuable meat and thresher sharks are one of my favorite sharks because of how pretty they are as well as their tails and the use of them. Thresher shark's tails can grow to about twenty feet in length and are used like a whip to stun prey so that the shark can then eat it. When I came to The University of Tampa I came as a marine biology major because it is a topic I love and find very interesting and in high school I learned about shark finning and the different problems humanity has placed on ocean life and it became something I am very passionate about.
